Born and raised in Houston, TX. Nazaret Castillo is the son of two immigrant parents who supported his dream to play and teach music.

Mr. Nazaret’s musical training started very young listening to his father passionately sing and play the guitar. Eventually entering band in middle school and then pursuing music into college at the University of Houston where he received his Bachelors in Music Performance (2020). Mr. Nazaret’s musical experience includes experience includes playing clarinet, bass clarinet, euphonium, trombone, guitar, voice, and of course PIANO!

Since freshman year of college (2015-2016), Mr. Nazaret started teaching private trombone and piano lessons. First with local school districts in Houston, then with a few music schools/studios/academies. After 7 years of private lesson experience and over 6,000 lessons taught to student ages 3 - 74, Mr. Nazaret decided he wanted to own and run his own music lessons, thus “Castillo TX Piano School” was born!

When not teaching music, Mr. Nazaret enjoys performing music live with his own ensembles and with a wide variety of others

Outside of music, Mr. Nazaret loves time outdoors, live music, yoga, sports and being a father.
